Book Launch: Residence of U.S. Ambassador to Rwanda, Kigali, Rwanda

4 April 2009:  On Saturday, 4 April 2009, the United States Ambassador to Rwanda, W. Stuart Symington, hosted Zachary D. Kaufman and Dr. Phil Clark for a launch of the book they co-edited, After Genocide: Transitional Justice, Post-Conflict Reconstruction, and Reconciliation in Rwanda and Beyond.  The event was held from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the official Residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Rwanda in Kigali, Rwanda.  Invited guests included senior staff members of the United States Embassy in Kigali, members of the Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga, and other distinguished community members.

Book Launch: Kigali Public Library, Kigali, Rwanda

4 April 2009:  On Saturday, 4 April 2009, the Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga hosted Zachary D. Kaufman and Dr. Phil Clark for a launch of the book they co-edited, After Genocide: Transitional Justice, Post-Conflict Reconstruction, and Reconciliation in Rwanda and Beyond, profits of which the co-editors are donating to the Kigali Public Library, Rwanda's first-ever public library.  The event was held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kigali Public Library, which the Rotary Club of Kigali-Virunga, in conjunction with the American Friends of the Kigali Public Library, is building.

Symposium: 15 Years After Genocide: Where Now for Rwanda?

3 April 2009:  A symposium to mark the 15th anniversary of the Rwandan genocide and to launch After Genocide: Transitional Justice, Post-Conflict Reconstruction, and Reconciliation in Rwanda and Beyond will take place in Kigali on 3 April 2009.
